Daddy-Daughter relationships are so special. I miss my Dad. This year, it will be 11 years since he passed on. But, the beautiful memories never die. They are as alive as they were on the days they were made.
On many days I silently watch my husband interacting with our daughters. The bond created right from the day they were born remains so strong. It reminds me of my childhood relationship with my own Dad. It brings back memories of how involved Dad was in our lives and the little things he did to make our relationship with him extra special.

Just look at these two?
Today, by virtue of circumstances, people are spending a lot more time at home with their children. Some Dads are having a hard time finding fun activities to do together with their daughters. Many haven’t had as much time to spend at home and it is not because they are absentee Dads.
So, to maximize on this time with their daughters, here are some ideas of fun activities I mpicked from watching my husband with his little ladies:
1. Daddy Nail Spa
I have a confession to make… I have never cut my daughters’ nails. I am too scared to nip them? Daddy has always done it and turned it into a mani and pedi spa treat for the girls and they love it. It’s the cutest scene to watch.
2. Walks
Evening walks with both our daughters or taking one at a time so that they each have their special time with Daddy. Part of this routine involves plucking and bringing home a flower for mummy?.

Just Daddy and Daughter (and puppy?)
3. Biking
Teaching your daughter to ride a bike is special. She will never forget Daddy picking her up each time she falls.
4. Play Dates
Scheduling time for Daddy to bring out the toys and play is so anticipated in our house. Try to have a specific toys time for just you and your daughter(s). Our girls look forward to play dates with Daddy usually after their dinner time.
5. Pet Care
We have a terrier named Ochie and he is our daughters’ best friend ??. They enjoy Daddy’ lessons on how to bathe him, comb his fur and all grooming, feeding and picking up poop too? It’s a great way for kids to bond with you while learning responsibility too.
6. Exercise…dumbells?
I used to think people weren’t being truthful when they would say their toned bodies are are as a result of lifting their kids. Now I know its true? It’s lots of fun and healthy for the kids too.
7. Reading, Writing, Art
Helping them to learn new things or to improve their skills is a lovely way to spend time.
8. Gardening
The girls love trees and plants. They get to experience the beauty and miracle of life. They enjoy being part of seeing how food is grown and nurtured before it can be eaten. Many Daddy-Daughter dates happen in our kitchen garden?

They love their outdoor dates?
9. Drives and Car Wash
Driving your daughter(s) around provides a good opportunity to talk to and hear from them as well! Washing the car together is so much fun too!
10. Bedtime Routine
Be part of their daily bedtime routine in one way or another by preparing them for bed, praying and reading from the bible, bedtime stories etc. As they head to bed, speak blessings over their lives every single day?

Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be helpful to read articles from other writers and use a little something from their websites. Catarina Artemus Scully
