Aaaah, don’t I love how cute baby girl shoes and things are!?
When you have daughters and no sons, it is determined for you by others that you are longing for or trying to have a boy child…that you are thoroughly disappointed that you haven’t had one and will not stop trying until you do?
Society stands in a perceived gap on your behalf and pleads your case before God to grant you a son that you haven’t asked for. They don’t know that just may be… You are just fine with what you have or you asked Him for daughters only and He granted your wish in full plus more❤️
Since having my second born ( I have two princesses❤️)…my conversations with some friends and acquaintances go like this… By the way you would think there is a template for this conversation… It flows the same way 98% of the time???
Them: Congratulations! You don’t look like you recently had a baby..
Me: Thank you! Believe it or not I have actually gained weight ?
Them: Aki niambie secret…
(P.S. My statement that I have gained weight goes unheard 98% of the time? or should I lie to them that the secret is having girls?)
Them: Ulipata boy ama girl….
Me: Baby girl, I have 2 daughters.
(At this point I usually know what’s coming next? A pep talk! Words of Encouragement! ??)
Them: oh wow! It’s okay imagine… Girls ni poa pia …. Ni sawa tu. Hakuna difference btwn boys & girls… Kwanza girls ndiyo husaidia wazazi… sympathy… sympathy?
Me? ??♀️???♀️
Well, this is just to say that people who just want to have girl children and are blessed enough to do so actually exist❤
